Savanna Is Coming Home!
Savanna is coming home today!!!!
Her doctor just called and said that her x-ray is better. The lung is not fully expanded and any other parents she would not discharge her, but she knows that we will take good care of her, also with the help of home health nursing.
She won’t be able to write the orders until about 11:00 so we won’t be home till this afternoon sometime. Meanwhile the Rushes are doing our “Sunshine is coming home happy dance”. It’s quite a site that I’m sure none of you would like to see. (kind of like Tim’s singing)
Please continue to pray for her full recovery as this could still take a while. We do feel that everything they have been doing in the hospital is exactly what we can do at home. Savanna will be more comfortable here and we can make her a little more mobile which also helps open up her lungs. I’ll keep you updated on her progress.
